So the ceremony is in the church, but there is not reception, just a fancy dinner. The wedding is very small (25 ppl).

Do you think all the guests should wear suits (not that I could tell them..but my dad and everyone keeps asking).

And my sister is the MOH...is it ok for wear a short dress, or should it be long (since its in a church?)

    How formal is your dress?

If you don't want to be formal, it's totally okay to tell people business casual or whatever you want them to wear!

do you think it's ok for my MOH to wear a short dress...or is that not a good idea for a church wedding?

We got married in a church and all my girls wore knee length dresses.  Some churches have restrictions on what you can wear (mostly I've heard of no bare shoulders), so you might just want to check with your church.  But otherwise, I think a short dress would be fine!  Good luck!  :)

Your dress is stunning!  I think, given the church wedding and the asthetic of your dress, you should go for a long dress for MOH.  I think guys could do suits.

Unless it's a super conservative church, I see no problem in knee length (or even slightly above the knee) BM dresses. If you're talking mini skirt short I might re-state my opinion. :)

I think you can have everyone wear whatever you want them to!  Don't worry about it being formal or informal.  Just make it whatever you like!

I'd suggest the men wear jackets and ties, and they can always take them off in the evening.
