Weddingbee boards

I started a thread last night (I'm so over Facebook posts) while my SO was in the shower (didn't want him to know I was bothered by the news of yet another friend getting engaged)  We had agreed not to bring up wedding/engagment talk so he could do his thing and surprise me.

To my surprise, after his shower, SO gets on his computer and starts shopping for valentines.  He asks if I like a pair of earrings, so I go closer to take a look...very pretty.  Then he starts looking at engagement rings....again.  Browsing rings online has been going on for about a year.  I thought we had picked out THE ring in November...apparently not!

So, he asks me if I like this ring and that ring...I am so confused at this point.  I say very calmly, " I thought we really liked the Vera Wang ring".  His reply was "Yeah, but I have no idea what you like."  I had to laugh at that.  At this point you don't know? I think he is just really afraid of getting me something I don't like and he is looking for something a bit more inexpensive than the Vera Wang ring ($2100)  

Anyway, we looked for about 1/2 an hour and he saved four rings to his "bag" and then he printed out the shopping cart page with all the rings listed.

He gets his work bonus on Tuesday and now I am really curious to see if the paper he printed the rings on disappears.  He told me that if he decides to get me earrings for Vday that he will have to take me to the store to pick them out...What a perfect time to try on those rings and maybe buy one??  That is probably wishful thinking, but a girl can dream, right?

That is so exciting! Even if it doesn't happen on V-day, it sounds like it is getting closer by the day! Yay!
