In the end, against my better judgement and because I had just had it with my job, I was honest with my company. I went to my boss and explained that I wanted to leave in December to continue with my own business ventures, and I would understand if they wanted me to leave right away, but I would like to continue to work until then.
Guess what? They were fine with it! I can keep my normal salary and benefits until I want to leave :) The CEO of our company started the company I work for from the ground up, and he said he had a lot of respect for what I was doing, and because I'm such a good employee, he would be happy to support my decision. As much as I can't stand this job, I was really grateful for that.
I'm just really happy, so I wanted to post an update for everyone. Yay!
