I have this vision of using bougainvillea branches intertwined with votive or hurricane-glass candles as centerpieces for round tables (my reception locale is very Rustic-Hacienda-Mexican-Resort)… Kinda like you see at Christmas with berry branches?
However, I cannot find ANY centerpieces or table decorations pictures of this type of centerpiece (not even googling "Christmas table decor!").
My colors are bright blues (cobalt, teal, turquoise), and I’d like to incorporate that into the table somehow (using table runners or a blue or teal table square)…
The closest thing I’ve found to something I like is shown in the pic below…
Does anyone have any pictures of low branch (branches laying down) centepieces or table decor? Also, has anyone used bougainvillea in their wedding decor?

OK- a quick Google Image Search for "Branch centerpiece" turned up the following:
Check out this blog post- they even have a blue colored branch:

I think that sounds like a great idea. ^_^ I googled "centerpiece wreath," "long low centerpiece" and "long holly centerpieces", etc. and found some (admittedly old-fashioned in some cases) nice images of candles and low flowers. None of them are quite what you’re looking for, I think, but hopefully there’s something you find useful. ^_^

I think it would be useful to do a mock up, if you’re worried it might not look good. Post pics if you do! I think it sounds lovely. ^_^

Hmmm…didn’t cherry blossom do a lower lying branch centerpiece thing….?
Nope…it was Gummi Bear and she actually wrote a whole post about it here: http://www.weddingbee.com/2008/01/02/branch-centerpieces/
She used Manzanita branches, but I am sure it would translate well with most branches.
