LOL - well to answer your question usually the day of the wedding if people give cash they bring it with the card to the reception - hence why you probably wanna get a card holder (with a lock) if your family is the type to gift money!!!! :)

But when do the cards with cash or checks start rolling in? I keep stealing furitive glances at our savings account, our expenses spreadsheet, and the mailbox and hoping that something arrives in the mailbox with a lot of zeros!
I'm kidding! (kind of) But, seriously, the idea that we're about to blow the $7,000 we have in savings terrifies me! I'm looking forward to August when every spare penny isn't redirected to Wedding Expenses.
