This isn’t wedding related at all but I had no other idea where to turn and I was hoping that there were at least a few people here who worked at a bank who could elaborate on what a “Customer Service Manager” at a bank actually does.
The thing is that when I complete college (taking a 3 year accounting program) next spring I need to have a 5 week internship completed and I’ve been hoping to get on at a bank. I had my interview (rocked it btw) and the woman told me she’d like to have me shadown their customer service managers at the different locations.
I was so excited I got an offer that I didn’t ask any questions about what the managers actually do that is related to accounting. From what I understand online there really isn’t much accounting to it – just administrative stuff.
So I was just hoping anyone here could give me any insight as to any accounting skills that these managers actually need. The last thing I need is to lose the credit because I never did anything accounting related on the job.
