Oh gosh I'm so sorry! It must be stressful. At least he's got you for support, emotional and otherwise, he'll certainly need it. I hope he bounces back soon.

My husband got laid off 6 months after our wedding. While it was really stressful, it also really brough us closer together and made us even more of a team. He absolutely needs your support and will need to feel even more needed by you than normal (I found that a loss of a job makes a guy, especially, need to feel needed by his partner)

I'm so sorry - and it's like adding salt to the wound that you have to write a thank you note to all of his former bosses. Hopefully he'll find something again soon!

Thats terrible!! I've been laid off in the past and so I know how your husband feels. Make sure he signs up for unemployment ASAP. You guys have paid for this benefit the entire time you've been working and you should use it, it's meant for times like this! In Maryland, eveything can be done online and the money is direct deposited for you!
My husband lost his job a couple of months after we got married. It got really hard for us because I worried so much. I know it's easier said than done, but you have to stop worrying. Have faith and be positive.
I know it sucks to have this happen shortly after your wedded bliss. But hey, we will all go through things in our marriages and hopefully this will make you and your husband stronger.

He took a different route, just passed a licensing exam and now has 3 job interviews on MONDAY! Thank GOD!

LOSING YOUR JOB! Not me, but my husband lost his job on Friday. He's the first manager they let go at the car dealership. It just sucks because we thought he had more job security than me (especially since the entire dealership was at our wedding last month). We could use your thoughts/prayers during this time. I think I'm doing enough worrying for the both of us, but I just thought I'd share with the hive since we really aren't telling many of our friends at this exact moment as we are first trying to process the whole situation.
I still have to write the thank you notes to his former bosses. SUCK! HAPPY ONE-MONTH ANNIVERSARY TO US!
