I was just curious. I know most of us all have date twins. I started thinking if we were all getting married at the same time (different time zones may change that!). My ceremony starts at 4:30pm. I’m having my wedding 2 wks before the daylight savings where time moves back an hr and so 4:30 outdoors will look like 5:30pm outdoors today. I wanted the ceremony over before sunset so we can get those new husband and wife pics taken during the sunset. My reception starts at 6pm and is over at 10p. I wasnt too thrilled about the end of reception time but venue says it has to be over by then so I had no choice. What are your times?

I’m getting married November 3rd daylight savings ends that night! I am having my ceremony at 530 but it’s indoors so no one will really care! But I do think my guests will appreciate the extra hour of sleep they get in the morning! 🙂

We’re having time demilimas! Trying to decide!
I’m thinking Wedding at 3:30, Pictures at 4:00, Open reception at 4:30, do our entrance at 5:00, Start serving dinner right after, cake at 6, dancing etc etc after, end the thing between 9 and 10.
Idk, really. I’m intrested to hear what other November Brides will do!

My ceremony will be 10am, reception 12-5. Originally, I wanted an afternoon wedding and night reception, but I got an ABSOLUTE STEAL on price at my amazing venue and all they had for the day I wanted was 12-5…..so, I went with it! And by steal, I mean a savings of $95/pp. I couldn’t pass that up!

Our ceremony and reception are at the same place and we only get a five hour space so we are doing…
Ceremony at 4PM
Cocktail Hour from 4:30-5:30
Entrance, Special Dances from 5:30-6PM
Dinner at 6PM
Dance, Cake, Etc. from 7-9PM
Exit at 9PM
I am okay with ending it at 9PM too because we have to be up at 3AM to catch our flight to Hawaii. Can’t wait for our special day!

@MusicBee76: Hi Date twin!!! I originally wanted to do this timeline! I wanted chicken and waffles type of food theme to be served for a brunch reception (thought it would be cheaper) but I’m not a morning person and it’s going to take FOREVER for my bridal party and myself to get ready and get everything setup in time so we went for an evening affair.
