Hmmm. I vote November because most guests won’t be fully into xmas-busy mode yet, and the weather is likely to be more conducive to traveling. I think December is too busy and too expensive (both for the couple and the guests). And January is dreary and everyone is broke. November!

November or January

november is pre-Christmas but there is still a lot going on. If its late in Jan I would say go for that because there is usually nothing going on and it will give everone something to lookforward to….. and it will be a good time of year for an annaversary!

if you give people enough notice they will be able to budget so they still have money left to attend your wedding instead of spending all their money at x-mas!

November!  In Calgary, January’s weather is worse and colder than November, and I just want to stay inside all day in January.  December is way too busy with Christmas, and we always go away on Boxing day to take advantage of the time off!

I personally think January would be the best as everyone’s  children (assuming you’re allowing children to attend) would be off school on break and most people try not to take their Xmas vacation in late December so they don’t cause craziness in the office, so they’d find it easier to get the time off.

Plus, in January I’d sure rather be in B.C. than Alberta for the weather alone!

November!  December has too much xmas going on and January is either crappy winter weather or everyone is broke and worn out from xmas….this is why we picked November too 🙂

I always feel like November is more of a Fall wedding month but maybe just because I am from California and it’s still hot. I chose end of January since for me November and December are super busy with holiday stuff and I January will be a new fresh month with something for people to look forward to and get them out of the house in the middle of winter. Also it will be nice to have something to celebrate every year in January since I am always a little bummed after Christmas is over:)

I would pick late January. Just because I too want a January wedding. January is always a long cold boring month. It gives everyone something to look forward too and also great anniversery date. We can jet set to Mexico or something 🙂

Just curious.. I’m an Alberta bee .. And thought about having our wedding in the Rockies somewhere in January. What are your ideas for a nov, dec, jan wedding in bc? Since there is so much snow!
