@LOGAHN1981: I LOVE your dress!!! So beautiful and unique! I have a picture from my first time trying it on...and another from taking it in to get bustled...but I haven't gone for my first fitting yet. I'll post one next week!

I finally got in to get my second fitting on! Here is the result. The bustle has to be put in properly, and the dress needs to be steamed, but otherwise everything is alllllllll done dress/attire-wise! I even got my undergarments/garter!
@fvsoccer - That is beautiful .... I'm so excited to go an pic up my dress on October 19.. super excited. I haven't gotten my garter yet. I'm still debating as to what kind I want. I wanted something really personalized that would have the FH laugh when he took it off.. Any ideas.
My 2nd hopefully final fitting will be on the 28th! I will deff take pictures :)
@Sah - I know you are excited to do the final fitting. Can't wait to see pics.
@Gabrielle123 - We look foward to seeing them :) .... I will try to remind you.. I have wedding brain right now so I feel like I'm forgetting everything.. lol! I haven't even taking the time to enjoy the fact that I am getting married. And that's something important that I think we all should do. I got so involved in the Dress, Venue etc. That it slipped my mind as to what this is really for.. Marrying my best friend and I can't wait ...:)
Am I the only one who has to have 4-5 fittings? I've had two, and the seamstress said my fourth may be the final, but I may need a fifth. I'm not even having anything done to the bodice!!
@Ms. Gremmlin- wow that's alot of fitting. What dress do you have?

@LOGAHN1981: It's Justin Alexander 8502... the seamstress said she's treating it like lace because it has so many layers. But literally, I'm having the hem and bustle done... that's it. I thought she was crazy! But she is awesome.
@LOGAHN1981: did i take a pic at my fitting? nope. I suck.
@Ms. Gremmlin: I had to go in about 4 times too. I have the JA 8483. I have 7 layers of tulle so it was a like of altering.
Picking mine up today at 3! Here are some pics from my second fitting last week. Sorry they aren't great, I forgot my camera and had to use the phone camera:
And pictures of her bustled (posting the first one just to show what the train looked like before it's bustled). I'm so impressed with the way the seamstress did it! Although in the pics she had it pinned because once I got it on she decided it needed more buttons to hold it up (went from 3 to 5), so it's a little lopsided in the pics. But you get the idea:

All of you all's dresses are so beautiful.. Just think in a few days we will be wearing them to become a wife :)
All set! Picked it up today! Was kind of worried about how it'd match the all-lace veil I had made, but I think it works. It's an evening gown, not a wedding dress, and it wrinkles if you look at it the wrong way. :) We're getting married in NYC but it has to fly in my carry-on from CA. I'm kind of terrified of dropping it off at the cleaners' to have it pressed, but more afraid of the airline losing my luggage.

How goes it? November is FASTLY approching and I know we all have tons of things to do... But I figure let's lighten up the mood.. Show your dress when you 1st tried it on, then the dress after the alterations and at the final fitting and your bustles too...
