I am having 2. One September 24th for his side of the family, and October 1st for my side. I know the food for the Oct. 1, but not much else. I know nothing about the September one, but FMIL has only asked for the guest list and not asked about anything else. I'm getting excited for them though!!
Mine is September 5th! I'm doing it in conjunction with my bachelorette party, as many of my friends are from OOT and I don't want them to have to travel twice :) And the long weekend seemed as good a time as any!
So excited!
I am also having two showers. My first one is next sunday.. Then I am having the second in mid september. I have to have them early for some people leaving for school and want to be there. I am so very excited. :)
I don't know when mine is nor when it will take place. My MOH is getting married September so all the buzz and energy is going towards getting ready for her wedding (I'm one of her BMs).
I had mine on July 3rd! It was soooo much fun:-)
My bachelorette party is I think going to be held late September or early October:-)
I'm having three! One next weekend, one August 28, and one September 3rd (a couples shower)..the next few months are looking busy!
@Sah: love that they told you to wear pink..it's sure to be fun!
I'm having two. My maid of honor will be throwing me one in September. My out of town aunts will be throwing a Couple's shower for FI and I in October. I'm so excited!! But we haven't registered anywhere yet. We better get on that!!
So, far I know I will be having one with the ladies of the bridal party and some of my closes friends and loved ones. I am so excited about the shower coming up. I do believe it will be a lingerie shower because I was asked my size in bras and panties, but that is all. I wanted at first, to know more, but now I am exicted to see what the ladies will pull off for me.
I hope they aren't getting my hopes up for a lingerie shower and they are fooling me..... that wouldn't be a good trick because I have never worn lingerie or sexy (anything) so, I need as much help and nighties as possible. Although I have been purchasing (*items*) lately. Because I want to be prepared either way and they are on sale.... so I may as well buy it on up.
Mine is going to be September 25th, and its with my family and his family. So excited!!
Mine was June 26. My cousin/BM lives in San Francisco, we had to have it early enough so she could come. It was a blast!
So far we're having two. One thrown by an aunt that will be the Sept. 10th. It'll still be warm here so we're having a cook out pool party and it's for my family and his family. On the 24th, my MOH is throwing me a 'ladies' only shower for all the ladies that my grandmother used to play cards with. This one means a lot to me because my grandma passed away about three years ago and all her friends have taken on the role of 'grandma' to me and my new baby cousin. I'm bound to be a cry baby at that one.
Our BM offered to throw us another shower, but only if we register at REI. lol. I don't know if that's going to happen....My bachelorette weekend is going to be Oct 14-16. I'm excited!
I'm also having 2!! My first one was in NJ this past weekend... it was my last time going up before I'm married and my sister (MOH) lives upthere and is pregnant so since she won't be able to fly down til right before the wedding, she did it early!!! It was awesome! I also had a bachelorette party with my NJ friends and wouldn't you know, the JERSEY SHORE cast crashed my party!! lol :-) They were filming at Jenks!
I think my next one (in FL) will be toward the end of September! So exciting!
I have been told mine will be at the end of September. My mom and my MOH are setting the whole thing up for me...
I have had my first shower!! It was awesome!! I hope you ladies have great showers aas well, pretty soon we will be getting married!!!!!
I'm not having my shower until Oct 1st! My mom and bridal party are setting all of it up. I only know the theme and the date and time. That's all the more they will tell me. lol
I'm having mine Sept 10. I basically know everything since my Mom and sister don't know what they're doing haha. I'm so excited though! I keep checking the registry haha.
I have no idea what's going on. I told everyone not to have a shower, since we are having a honeymoon registery. I think there's going to be a small "party" sans gifts...I did try to suggest a lingerie or "naughty" party...hee hee hee...

Next and last shower (thank goodness lol) September 11th. So excited!!
Mine is October 8th... I cant wait, I have been told that someone ( not knowing who ) will come to pick me up at my place and take me to the secret location.. I am intrigued and very excited..
I just had mine last weekend when I was back in my hometown...I blogged about it on my blog, here...
It was a lot of fun, and I really didn't think I wanted a shower at all. Now I'm glad we had one, and glad that it turned into a mini-jack and jill type thing. All of our family and friends are scattered around the country, so not too many could make the actual shower.
Mine is October 22nd or 23rd (Depending on the availbility of the venue). I'm excited about it :)

When is yours? Is it a surprise or do you know all about it? Mine is coming up fast!!! I'm having mine on August 13th and my girls wont let me know anything about it! All I know is that its pink... lol We are having mine early because my sisters is in September (shes getting married 3 weeks before me) and it would have been a little crazy having mine a week or two after her shower or before her wedding. I CAN'T WAIT! :)
