Hi BigBear2012!

 

We are getting married at Twin Oaks in San Marcos on May 5, 2013.  Since it’s a Sunday, we decided to start a little earlier, since some of our guests may be leaving that night.  We are starting at 3:30.  This was a recommendation by the venue, as we think it will give us a good amount of day light and not end too late.  Hope this helps!

Im a TO bride (june 2014) and we are planning to do our first meeting this month sometime….what do they go over??

@SoontobeMrsFisette:  Hi there. We are getting married at Twin Oaks on July 21, 2013. We have had 2 of our meetings already. The 1st one goes over your timeline for the day, ask who is in your bridal party, discuss recommended vendors, and answer any questions. All is able to be changed at anytime but it helps to get you started.

We have all of our vendors now, so if you want any suggestions or have other questions let me know.

who are you using for dj, photographer, and for hair??? 

Also what hotels are you booking and are you getting a shuttle???

@SoontobeMrsFisette:  We are using Injoy Entertainment for oru DJ.

Dapper Images for our photographer. We absolutely adore them!

Hair/Makeup still undecided.

We blocked rooms at the Courtyard Marriott in Oceanside. And La Estancia Inn in Fallbrook. We will be providing shuttles from both, but haven’t picked the shuttle service yet.

@soontobeMrsRatcliff: have you picked your shuttles?? we are still looking for ours but i think i may have it narrowed down. At any of the hotels you picled do they have a bar or a bar next to it?? my family and friends will want to do after party since the wedding ends at like 10 so im looking for something we dont have to take cabs to.
