I actually have a lot done! I’m usually a procrastinator but with all of the other things going on in my life I’m worried about putting it off so I’m working hard to get things done as early as reasonably possible. I have the STDs and invitations ordered. I have my dress bought and the bridesmaid and groomsmen outfits picked out. I have my whole outfit put together as a matter of fact too. Now I’m trying to focus on the little things I can get done and I still need to book our cake vendor.

I just thought about all the small things left to do and had a moment of panic. I need to make a list.

We aren’t doing save the dates. I feel like I am behind but I am a very picky person! I have been gathering ideas on style me pretty. But nothing is set in stone. My next thing I NEED to do is find a dress. 3 trips and haven’t found anything! It’s actually starting to get annoying!

I got my dress, two BMs got theirs, still deciding on MOH’s dress.  I’ve designed, ordered, and received my postcard STDs.  I still need to collect addresses and send them out.  I figured out how I want to do my DIY invitations, but need to decide on where to order my paper from (I’m waiting for swatches to arrive).  One other small thing I have accomplished is designing stickers for our favors.  I used zazzle.  Of my ideas, this is one of my honey’s favorites.  We are climbers.

@Sah  No way, it’s not crazy to start early.  I think it’s smarter.  I’ve got a couple pieces already to do a trial centerpiece mockup, it is just finding the time.  Actually, I may be the crazy one trying to plan a wedding the same year I have my qualifying exam (I’m a graduate student).  Anyways, whatever you get done early, the more energy you’ll have for other details that crop up closer to the wedding date.

We have been engaged since 11/10/09. The first thing we did was book our photographer, then the reception site and picked the menu. My dress has been in since September, limo is booked, church is booked, DJ is booked, invites just need to be addressed, escort cards are almost done, centerpieces are almost done, I have my shoes, the guys are all fitted, my aunt is making our cake, I just have to add the finishing touches to the birdcages and jars.  Its easier to say all we have left to do is book the videographer, florist and get the bridesmaid dresses ordered!!! lol
