lili.dianne:  People who live where winter can be harsh, still get up, go out and go to work. There is no reason to think they won’t come to your wedding.

Your OOT guests will likely book a hotel near your venue, so weather won’t impact them once they are in town.

The problem could come if the weather is bad enough to interfere with plane schedules.

lili.dianne:  we’re getting married on the 13th of November this year in Ireland so it will be cold. We got engaged on New Year’s Day. Originally booked to marry in 2015 but then brought it forward cos I couldn’t handle planning a wedding for 2 years!

Our date is Nov 22nd! I watched the weather closely last Nov, and it was gross and rainey here in Texas. But if I remember correctly, everyother year the weather seems to fluctuate (or so I tell myself…)

November 15! Not long now for me! I’m in Eastern Canada and I’m not too worried about flight schduldes. We don’t usually get really bad weather until after Christmas. Fog delays would be more of a worry but that can happen any time of the year.

I got a fur bolero at Laura on clearence last year that looks awesome with my dress. Planning on wearing that for outside pictures. Google winter wedding…you get some awesome shots and ideas.

lili.dianne:  I have reds and greys. Where I live the fall colours are pretty much gone by November although its not quite yet winter. No snow on the ground but we can get snow falling. I didn’t use fall colours at all. No oranges or browns and definitely no pumpkins.

lili.dianne:  haha I think any yucky weather is bad!! Our ceremony is outdoors and the “backup plan” indoor option really sucks. The tent we have on standby is an extra 1k (ridiculous!!). I will take overcast and cold. As long as it doesn’t rain I will be happy. (we don’t really have the snow issue in south texas…lol!)

texaslemon:  jillianstoday:  Hi date twins! I’m November 22nd too!

I also remember that the weather was really crappy last November in PA, so I’m hoping for decent weather this year. We’re planning on doing our first look outside and taking pictures around our city if the weather holds up.

I attended a wedding last November, and things were good weather-wise. But, it all depends on your area and weather pattern for November. Typically here, North Dakota, we  start seeing much colder temps move in but snow is still possible. You definitely wouldn’t see an outdoor wedding during that time of the year here!

Heck, our wedding is October 17 and we’re having the ceremony outdoors… and hoping the weather cooperates.

I knew I didn’t want a winter wedding (and would consider November that with the weather here), and October was our last chance to get into Fall. Plus, having a wedding in our area anytime between late-November through April is chance of bad weather snow-wise and people not being able to make it. I didn’t want to chance it.
