I'm doing a first look because we are taking a good chunk of our pictures before the ceremony. Not only will this calm our nerves, but it will keep us from having a gap between the ceremony and the reception. We aren't doing a cocktail hour to save money.
@Bichon Frise: I'm thinking about it this way as well.. although we would only have about an hour before the ceremony (it's being held at 10:30am) it would add to our hour between the ceremony and reception.
Yes. I hadn't thought about it before the bee, but it will be nice to get a quiet moment with him, before things get crazy again. Some people have said their best pictures were from the first look. That's a good enough excuse for me!

No first look for us! I asked FI and he doesn't want to see me until I walk through the doors. He's too cute :)
None for me.... We both want to have that OMG feeling when we walk in the door.. :)
Yes, we're doing it. Primarily because we're doing all of our pictures before the ceremony so we can enjoy the cocktail hour we're paying for :) So it just makes sense to do the first look too.

Is anyone doing a first look? I'm all of a sudden wanting to do a first look.. my sister and her now husband did sort of a first look and she said it helped her nerves so much! AHHH!
