We're having our wedding Nov. 21st and we plan on going to Sandals Antigua. We're leaving Nov. 29th.. We loved the idea that w/ Sandals it's all inclusive, this way we wouldnt have to fuss about money (we just bought a house and saving every dime has been our focus lately). Also there's tons of excursions you can go on. Antigua has 365 beachs so if you're not into Sandals I'm sure there's plenty other resorts around! Goodluck!
Thanks for the input. We've had a curve ball thrown in our direction this past week. Our beloved female cavalier king charles spaniel got very ill. Our honeymoon money went to her vet bill. So it's back to square one with honeymoon planning. It might be a last minute booking.
i heard the caribbean is beautiful in the winter months. november is the end of hurricane season so i think you will be fine. my FI and i went to puerto rico last year during the peak of hurricane season while there were 2 active hurricanes in the guld and it was totally fine. no hurricanes, nothing. but that was the middle of september. go with your gut, and do some research on averages on the weather where ever you and your FI decide on traveling.

My FI and I are getting married November 7, 2009. We are trying to figure our where to go for our honeymoon. We've narrowed it down to either Buenos Aires or the Caribbean.......Curacao or Antigua to be specific. We are trying to avoid areas outside of the hurricane belt. We are leaning toward a beach vacation at the moment, but we've heard Buenos Aires is very affordable with a European flair.
Any tips, advice, recommendations???
