Now rethinking ring style

Consultette:  You can’t always compare what you love to what someone else has. I think the ring you have picked out will be gorgeous and will suit you just fine. The pave on the band is small, so I don’t think it’ll look busy at all. Since the stones don’t go all the way around the band, I think it will still be comfortable and the the center stone will still be the star of the ring! I wouldn’t second-guess yourself at all.

There will always be other pieces of jewelry out there we wish we could have, but that’s normal. You and your boyfriend picked out your ring together and settled on a plan to make it happen. It will all work out, just stay confident in your choice! 🙂

You should probably go to a store and try on the two style with a wedding band.  I got the exact style pictured there and LOVED it on it’s own.  Then got the matching band and while I still like, honestly, I like it a weeeee bit less with the w-band.  On it’s own the center pops, but withe the band, I do feel like it gets a little drowned sometimes and now I love the solitaire + diamond band look too.  I didnt’ like the solitare on it’s own, though.  However, if I had though ahead enough to try on rings with bands, I might have sided with that.  However, both are amazing, and maybe it’s time to let go of the reins and let the BF decide.  I think you’ll love it either way.  Obligitory pic:

I’m pretty sure I know who’s ring your talking about! Anyway.. I’ve had a solitaire before and got bored with it. I have a halo and think it so too much. So we bought a round brilliant and are having it set in a pave cathedral setting because I think it’s a nice balance or blingy but classic. You need to go try some rings on in those styles to see what suits you best or you’ll end up like me and never be satisfied!

I had second thoughts before we pulled the trigger.  I think that is normal especially when you come on the bee all the time.  There are many many gorgeous rings on here that can make you want to go a different direction.  I think if you stay true to yourself and go with what you have been dreaming about you will be happy.  Also once you get your ring you will love it no matter what. I received the wrong but sililar setting from JA and I loved it even more then what I had ordered.  Just stop looking once you decide.

Consultette:  Hey, no problem! I’m sure everyone wonders if they made the right choice. I’m going through that myself now! I find solace in exchange and return policies so there’s usually “no harm, no foul” just a little more waiting involved. It’ll be just fine and I’m sure you’ll love it.

Consultette:  I was also previously engaged too!  The old ring was completely different.  I could never ever imagine wearing that stinky old ring from the previous engagement.  Especially after I received my ring.  There is a lot of sentiment attached to a ring and I had to go as far as changing the diamond shape and style completely.  I had a pear before and now I have an oval. I think you will be very happy with your new choice GL!
