I am thinking khaki pants for the Groomsmen. Do they have to wear vests? I think this will kind of mix linen pants (casual) with semiformal (vests).

I found the below image hoping to offer some assistance - it might be a little too formal. I was trying to look for a less formal - this is what I got, hope it helps a bit 
Our guys are wearing grey suits, but it was important to me that the vest match with the suit - the classic "3-piece suit" look and allowing them to ditch the jackets and roll the sleeves at the reception. I love how that looks! (I went back and forth between khaki and grey for a while at the beginning.)
We rented them. They are After Six brand. The style is called Catalina. If you can find a place to rent them, I'm sure they would rent you the pants and vest without the jacket if that is your preference.

Okay...this site was a HUGE help when satifying a picky groom and groomsmen with the color of ties. My colors are different shades of purple and apple green. However, they were not fond of wearing purple too flashy so they said. Well everyone is happy I decided to keep it casual and instead of wearng suits we are going with vest and ties with their white shirt sleeves rolled up to make it cooler and casual. They are very pleased with the choice of silver ties and vest for the groomsmen and silver tie white vest for the groom. I would really like my groom to wear a white dress pant or white linen pant. Should I have all the groomsmen wear white pants too or something different. I was originally thinking light gray but found out that gray does not match silver vest and tie. Would black be okay with the groom wearing white...or khaki? Help I have no fashion sense!! It is a casual wedding but I want everyones look to be finished and them to look nice.
