I'm getting married in NS too! I'm getting married one year plus a day before you! Where in NS are you getting married? I'm at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront. I'm very excited about it. Hooray for NS brides in Toronto! :)
I am getting married on my grandparent's farm in the Annapolis Valley! How are you doing with vendors? As I've only just started planning, the only things I'm pretty sure about are the caterer, florist, and perhaps the photographer. What photographer are you using? Did you get your dress in TO or in NS? Did you look in both places? I'm wondering if trying on here (more options) and seeing if a store there would order for me would save me some money. One of the great things about NS vs. TO is how much cheaper a lot of things seem to be!
I want to use as many NS vendors as I can, even for my DIY projects. Anything I make here has to be shipped there eventually so I'm hoping to get a lot of stuff there and do a lot of "putting together" right before the wedding. Are you doing a lot of DIY?

Hey another NS bride here!! I'm planning my wedding from Africa :S I'm getting married at the church I grew up in in Cape Breton and the reception is at the beautiful Inverary Inn in Baddeck. I can't wait to finally get home in July.

The wedding is on August 9th!! The time is coming so quickly, but almost everything is done. I have an absolutely wonderful mother :)
