We are planning to do my family’s famous brownies in white boxes as favors. I finally found the perfect size boxes online last night, only problem is that they come in packs of 100. We haven’t gotten many rsvps back yet, but we’re expecting maybe 130-140 people. I went ahead and only ordered 100 last night because ordering another 100 would have cost more than I was wanting to spend. Think that’ll be a big problem? Most of the weddings I’ve been to have ended up with plenty of favors left over at the end. What’s your experience?

If you put they at everyone’s place setting that it is not enough. But if you put them on a favor table you might be able to get away with it. If people don’t know what they are, they might only take 1 per couple.
Can you find them any place else that sells them in smaller packs?

That should work – if you’re doing one favor per couple. The other option might be to buy the additional 100 and sell the extras on Weddingbee Classifieds?

That’s true. I could sell them. My plan is to have them out on one favor table, similar to this, so a couple or an individual could pick them up. I might wait and see what the exact guest count is going to be before I worry too much.
