I have only a few close friends, so it was the 4 of us. We were at a hibachi table restaurant and there were 3 other bachelorette parties there. One had 4 girls total, the other had about 7, and the last one had 12! Yikes! I really liked it just being us 4. πŸ™‚

I’m only having 4 at mine as well. Just remember, it’s about quality and not quantity πŸ™‚

I don’t have many close friends either. I figure I’ll have about 5: my sister, FSIL, best friend, and 2 other close friends. That’s pretty much everyone I know lol. Don’t feel bad!! I think it’ll be more fun with fewer people, and probably much less drama πŸ™‚

There will be between 6-8 of us – not all girls though, some of my more fabulous male friends will be coming along as well πŸ™‚

I went to a huge bachelorette once for one of my girlfriends, and it was insane. We had a bus, I think there were 25 girls there? She got married right out of University so she was still in touch with that many people. If she were to do it over today? I’d bet that there would be maybe 10? Don’t stress about the number of people, I have had more fun at small bachelorette parties than I did at that giant one 10 times over! πŸ™‚

My girls invited 25 people to mine – not sure how many are going to show, but most are family (cousins) and friends who are invited to the wedding and live locally. I think it should be a great time, but am nervous that it’s just too big!

I had 8 at mine, and it was a semi-destination thing. 6 of them were driving either from one hour away or 3. We carpooled and spent the night in a hotel. Most of them were my cousins and my sister. If I didn’t have such a big family, I would have had a very small party indeed, or none!

I haven’t had mine yet, but I’m pretty sure that including me there will be 6 of us… (me, my 3 BMs, my MOH and another longtime friend)… I’m glad we’re keeping it small, as I’m not going to be having the traditional bar hopping pen*s party :)… we’re going to do lunch at Club 33 at Disneyland (2 of my BMs families are members!) and then spend the day at Dland and the night at Downtown Disney and probably spend the night at one of their resort hotels.  So excited!

I had 9 including myself. Although it was really only 8 because one of the girls was my MOHs roommate from college who had just moved up to DC that weekend and didnt know anyone or have anything to do! And then of the 8 – 3 are my BFFs from high school, my college roommate, a friend who Im not THAT close to that I actually know through FI, my FSIL (FIs twin sister) and FIs cousin. All but 3 of these people are in my bridal party!

I am the same way and feel the exact same that this wedding is pointing out how few friends I have. The thing is that i will look at other photos from weddings and see the bride with a large group of girlfriends and I get a little jealous. Its not that I dont love my friends its just that Im wondering if there is something wrong with me! Dont feel bad – its true that its quality not quantity!

Haha, I know how you feel! I actually had I think 10 or 11 at mine, but it’s really funny b/c the at the restaurant where we ate dinner we were in a small dining room with two tables: Ours and another bachelorette party with 25 girls!!!! I’m not kidding! I felt really inadequate at that point! πŸ™‚
