So planning my August wedding has been hectic and there are times the zeros in an estimate leave me seriously considering cancelling the whole thing….(yea right, Im just being dramatic)
I am seriously curious of your final budgets and the # of people you are inviting….just to compare

$30,000 for 215 people. From what I have found, this is a pretty high budget. I think we are spending something like $86 per person at the venue.

We’re looking at ~100 people for less than $10k. I know that our final number includes everything except the honeymoon, but I don’t have my spreadsheet set up to calculate otherwise.

30k for 140-150 people in Chicago. For the location, that’s about average to low.

We spent $17,000 for 130, not including honeymoon & rings. Our reception cost helped lower the cost because we took over a cancelled date. It knocked the price per head for an open bar and plated dinner reception to $62 a head after taxes/grat. Without that it would have been closer to $22,000.

we spent about $20,000 for 30 people…. that didnt include our rings or honeymoon but did include everything else (dress, attire, decor..)
