Where can I go to find some decent nursing bras? I have sadly (or maybe happily)outgrown my pre-pregnancy bras and am ready for the next step, a nursing bra.

Please give me ideas on places and even brands. I have no idea where to start.

    Thanks!

I got mine at Motherhood Maternity.  I bought three separate styles (since that's a no return item) so I could try them out.  Their sports bras are great, and I got a comfy cotton nursing bra to wear to bed (no underwires or heavy seaming) and a regular nursing bra to wear to work.  I'm actually going to pick up more today, because my ribcage outgrew the bras I had, so now I need more.  My suggestion is don't buy too many because you'll end up needing bigger ones later anyway.

My favorite nursing bras were really soft cotton bras from Target. I wore them pretty much exclusively. I wish I hadn't spent $$ on more expensive ones. But that was five years ago.

I've been wondering this myself.  I tried the ones from Target and they just didn't work for me.  My store was very limited in style and size... no big sizes for maternity bras :(

My lactation consultant suggested Motherhood and a couple of different local boutiques. I still haven't gone.  I borrowed one from my sister that is too big around my ribs and too little in the cups.. it's awful.  So if anyone else out there has suggestions lay them on us!

Target was good for sleep bras but they don't make them larger than a D which sucks! Spend the money and buy a Bravado! Best investment I've made- most comfy nursing bra ever!

You can certainly go spend $50 on one at a maternity store, but I dont know why you would.  I got mine at Target for $12 each and they're great.  Gilligan & O'Mally brand or something like that.
