I just feel like everywhere I go each and every woman looks exactly the same. The long natural (if not extensions) wavy hair. Everyone curling their hair every day. This has to do a lot of damage to your hair right? I can see it every once in a while but I know some doing this over the top look for everyday. Anyone else sick of it? Just a rant LOL

@jessyrez: Yeah, I was doing my hair like this a LOT when I was working in the bar I’m now part-time at full-time…and it killed my hair. I cut it off about 4 months ago and it’s never been healthier (or shorter!)

Lots of deep conditioner and heat protectant. I curl my hair almost everyday and haven’t noticed damage.

Nope, I love it…wearing it right now. Heat protectant helps a lot to keep from damaging your hair also getting your hair cut every 2 months.

I’m always jealous of girls who can get their hair to look that way! Mine is stick straight and any curls/waves fall out in 10 minutes or less. It’s my dream hair and I can never, ever have it. Boo.

uhhhhh…no. I have naturally curly hair, so I myself am not “over” the look, nor do I curl my hair every day, and I never straighten it. We curly girls rocked the look first, everyone else is just imitators LOL JK JK

I’ve worn my hair this way for 10+ years so it prob won’t change anytime soon. I usually blow dry it to look curled or if I do curl it I only do it twice a week 🙂

@annb9: Ugh, me too.
And WTH…how do yall have that much time every morning to do your hair like that?
It takes me at least 20 minutes.

@jessyrez: Actually, I think pixie cuts are more in style now than the long hair thing.

@penguinbee: Same here. If I was over it, I’d be the one spending an hour a day to straighten my curls…

@annb9: ugh me too. I try to get curls in my hair and as soon as someone looks at it, they fall out. I wish I could get some gorgeous, flowy curls!

I’m so out of touch with hairstyles now… Can you say ponytail?! I need to do better.

@charmedbee: +1 haha
I was going to say….I can’t really be over my natural hair?

I love that kind of hair but mine is naturally straight and super thick, and I can’t be bothered to curl it every day. I feel bad enough for getting it highlighted – I’ll never get back to the ultrasoftness of virgin hair. >.<
