heehee! it is hard!!!! that is so exciting that you are going to start trying though! I've always heard that BC stays in your system for a while after you stop taking it, like a few months. You should start taking prenatals right now! They are good for you whether or not you are trying to have a baby. Good luck!!!
So I will not go there!!! I would leave with something for future baby .. lol and H would think I'm even more crazy
Haha. I don't even want kids right now, but I went to buy my sister a shower gift and that place can make you want one right THIS SECOND. lol :)
ok, so i had baby fever about a year ago since a whole bunch of my friends and family started getting preggers (and i mean a whole bunch...about 8 back then and 6 right now) and buying baby shower stuff for other people drove me bonkers! Babies are us and the baby dept. at Target and Sears were so full of cute baby things! i even bought two outfits for our future babies but my mom threw a fit and made me return saying its bad luck to buy if your not even pregnant yet!
anyone heard of this? June bride, how exciting that you guys are ttc right after the wedding!
I feel some bee's temperature rising! Baby fever is contagious!
i went through the same thing! i called my fi right when i left the store and told him next time he had to do the shower shopping, or else there would probably be a baby before the wedding and that's just not good.
yeah - i'm afraid about that - the whole birth control staying in your system...not sure if it IS true or not - but I've been ON bc now for about 7 years...soooooo yeah.
the baby shower was good - course while I was there there were two infants plus another pregnant friend...and it was all i could do not to just go "i want one!!!" BUT i know we can't til July. First off - no one knows we're married and secondly I already bought my beautiful dress. :)
Soooo I'll just haveta wait. Course DH texted me during and he asked me if I was having a good time and I said "yes" and added "but you know..." and he replied "ooooh yeah, I know...all in good time"
so the one thing that makes me really happy (obviously) is knowing that he wants one just as badly as I do - but we both need to wait.

Seriously - I just started going "awwww I WANT ONE!!!" at everything I saw. SO glad mr. junebride didn't go with me lol. now - we ARE going to start TTC (trying to conceive) immediately after the wedding - and in fact my yearly is monday and I'm talking to my doc about what I need to do to get my body "ready" for July with vitamins, when to stop my BC, etc...
but yeaaaah. baby fever is hitting!!! :)
