Due to a snafu on our registry (the types of towels we requested were discontinued, so instead people bought towels in the same colour… but because the originals didn’t get ticked off, we officially have enough towels to start a small hotel chain) we have a truck load of gifts that we’re going to return, so we’re going to have a preeeetty decent credit at the Bay. We’re thinking that the biggest thing that we actually need is a cookware set, as ours is crappy as hell. When I went to look at reviews there, though, they were pretty sparse and really seemed to be on either end of the spectrum, even for brands that I’ve heard are great.
So! What do you think is a good brand of cookware to invest in? We’d like to spend under $500, but even the more expensive brands at the Bay tend to go on sale for 50% or less and we’ll only buy them on sale, so we’re thinking that $1000 is closer to our retail price limit. What would you choose in this situation?
