A blog definitely is time intensive, but writing is an outlet for me.  I am able to get stuff out and it helps relieve a little of my stress…like thinking out loud.  So, even though it takes time, it is totally woth it for me.

1.  How often do you post on your blog? Usually, 3-4 times a week.  However, in the past month things have been crazy at work and wedding planning has really gone to the next level with 2 months to go until the big show!

2.  How long do you spend creating a post?  It depends on the post.  Maybe an hour average?  I re-read and edit a lot before I hit the publish button.

3.  What’s the average time per week you spend on your blog?  A lot.

4.  Did it get easier (read=quicker) to post, once you got used to it?  Yes!

5.  How long did it take for you to get used to it?  Not long.

6.  What tips do you have for a newbie blogger like me?  Always keep an editing eye out.  Write to write and for yourself.  If you’re not passionate about a subject, don’t write about it.  Don’t force it.  Keep it real and use your voice.

Happy blogging!

1.  How often do you post on your blog? On Average about 3-4 times a week, but some of those all get posted the same day because I’m busy with real life.

2.  How long do you spend creating a post? I’ve never really timed myself, but depending on how long it is, anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours. And that includes photo-editing and paint productions.

3.  What’s the average time per week you spend on your blog? You really don’t want to know! Easily 4-5 hours. (see previous answer)

4.  Did it get easier (read=quicker) to post, once you got used to it? Yes, and No. I figuered out how to do somethings WAY easier, but i’ve learned a few other things that make me want to be fancier.

5.  How long did it take for you to get used to it? Only a handful of posts

6.  What tips do you have for a newbie blogger like me? 1. Always source any photos you use. 2. Comment on other blogs. 3. Write for yourself!

1.  How often do you post on your blog? I’m a 3-4x week girl, as well. Sometimes more, sometimes less depending if I have anything to say. There were weeks where I couldn’t think of anything I wanted to talk about, so I didn’t.

2.  How long do you spend creating a post?  Well, my food posts take much longer than just talking about everyday life. It can take me an hour or two to write a food post because I’m figuring out calories, editing pictures, etc.

3.  What’s the average time per week you spend on your blog? Haha. Way too much! I’m teaching myself the actual HTML formatting now so I’m spending more and more time rather than just using the basic Blogger template.

4.  Did it get easier (read=quicker) to post, once you got used to it?  Yes, it got much easier. I learned what Waffle said, just talk like you would in real life.

5.  How long did it take for you to get used to it? Not long at all, it gets easier and easier each post.

6.  What tips do you have for a newbie blogger like me?  Write in your voice. Write about things you are interested in. Don’t push it, you may not have followers all at once, that’s ok. With more posts, they will come. Have fun!

I’m a Blogger poster. Maybe try creating a blog with each (for free) and see which you like better!
