I think Poor Little Rich Girl has a location on Newbury St now (there other one is in Davis Sq in SOmerville, on the Red Line). They usually have great stuff. There is another one, but the name is escaping me...it is on Newbury on the half of the street closer to Massachusetts Ave, i think. I bet if you went on Yelp and searched "vintage" or "consignment" for Boston, it'd pop up. Most any vintage/consignment show on Newbury is going to have great stuff.
2nd Time Around is amazing and it's on Newbury St (address is 176 Newbury.) I go to the ones in NYC all the time and my friend used to run the one in Boston (now she's managing the three in NYC!)
@Trailmix thanks! The only thing I'm worried about is sizes, I'm not a small girl (like size 10 jeans) and I'm only 5'3" so I'm worried everything will be too small. Any insite on sizing, is there normally a good range? Price ranges? I obviously don't want to spend a lot of money on 2nd hand goods.
I have bought jeans at Second Time Around. Their prices are usually ~$40 for designer jeans (cheaper for normal brands), and they definitely have a huge range of sizes, so you shouldn't have a problem. For the most part, the consignment shops on Newbury tend toward designer consignment, so they will be more expensive than other consignment/thrift shops you might find in other parts of boston (i.e. Urban Renewal in Allston. that place is huge!)

I'm going to Boston on a work/free time trip and looked into some consignment shops on Newbury Street (just did a simple google search and it came up) do these shops (I think there are 3 on Newbury) affordable? Any examples? Or do you know of other consignment shops in Boston that have great affordable stuff? I'm looking to revamp my wardrobe that currently consists of me wearing jeans, sweaters and flip flops EVERYDAY, no joke. So I need help! Any other shopping suggestions are super welcome! Thanks bees!
