Hey bees! Fiance and I are planning a couples’ trip for our friends! We plan on making it sort of a ritual and having a ton of group activities and prizes (basically bragging rights lol) The first one would be next year after one of FI’s best friends comes back from afganistan. The theme we chose: The Hunger Games. I plan on going ALL out with invitations (they will have a map of panam) and a Effie Trinket look-alike greeting us at the airport! There will be multiple activities all hunger games related and points for the couple that excels at that activity. and at the end of the trip, the couple with the most points wins the victors crown (or half of the crown each) I could really use some help getting ideas for the activities! So far I have come up with:
Archery contest (after lessons)
A Mud run
hunger games charades
and thats all! I could really use some suggestions please 🙂

Ok, so I’m not sure of your exact location but what about…
-campfire cooking contest (foil packets are the best)
-a hunt! (scavenger, that is)
…I started this list thinking I could come up with more than two, but apparently I’m tapped. : Super fun idea though!

Something involving the food! The descriptions of the meals were so freaking detailed in the books. It’s not really an activity, but one night you guys should go all out and cook a hunger games Capitol meal – the lamb stew is a must!

For one of the meals you could do a “stew” that Greasy Sue made. (I hope I got her name right)

@atalante: we are actually thinking about going to the “capital” aka colorado for the trip. we were thinking of a camp fire for like just a relaxing evening.. no points lol.
@misspeanut: we are thinking about having a really nice dinner somewhere paying omage (sp?) to the capital.. like before the activities start. But maybe we could make lamb stew with dried plums at home instead
@Lily2323: yep!! great idea. thanks
