I haven't personally shot with the XS or XSi, but after reading the specs, I'd recommend the XSi. One of the big things that stands out is the screen size. A 3" screen can show you a lot more than a 2.5" screen. It can mean the difference between looking back and thinking a shot is in focus and realizing that it's not. :p (If that makes any sense?)

We asked for gift cards to Best Buy for Christmas and are now trying to decide between the Canon rebel XS or XSi. Can anyone recommend one or the other? I can see the differences on paper, but I'm not sure how that all translates to real life. Thanks in advance!
