Wow, that is a crappy situation. Sorry that happened to your FH's family.
As an aside, your post might be easier to read if you took out "A, B, C" and replaced maybe with fake names or "Half brother 1, half brother 2, son" or whatever...
... that is ALOT of letters, so I'm not sure I followed completely, but that really, really, really stinks. I'm so heartbroken for your family, it's never an easy situation to be in.

oh, that's horrible. Especially since the person most affected is their own 8 year old son who won't get gifts. How awful.
Wow that's so saad. Soo sorry to hear that. The persons who took the child in are great people for giving that child a chance at life. I don't understand how people can put their addictions before their own children!

Wow, I'm speechless. That literally makes me feel sick to my stomach. I feel so sorry for them, and for the little boy. It makes me appreciate my parents more. :(
He may not have the Christmas they were originally hoping to give him, but spending his Christmas with them and being cared for are the best and most important gifts ever.
that is so horrible! it brakes my heart that the poor kid is going through all this. he is only 8 and probably just doesn't understand. i wish there was something i could do!!!

This is kind of complicated and long, so sorry about that, but I'm sooo irritated/angry right now!
My FH's older brother Chris, is really his half-brother by his dad. Chris has two other half-brothers by his mom Byron & Vern. Chris and his wife Terri have taken in Byron's child, Adam, who is about 8 years old. Byron and his ex-girlfriend Nancy, are completely irresponsible, for most of Adam's life, he has been fed McDonalds and pizza, he is underweight for his age, and would rather go to bed at 4 pm than eat vegetables for dinner. So Chris and Terri who have been financially and emotionally supporting Adam since he was 4 or 5, took Byron and Nancy to court and won full custody of Adam. Byron has a pot addiction and Nancy has a heroin addiction, so neither are in any shape to be raising a child. Chris has a soft spot for family, but he has cut off all communication from Vern, because a few years ago Vern stole Chris and my FH's grandma's car and went for a joy ride across the country. Grandma didn't press charges because she didn't want to upset Chris.
Lately, Chris and Terri have been picking Byron up (because he doesn't have a drivers license) and letting him have supervised visits with Adam at their home. Byron would stay for a few days and spend time with Adam, while Chris and Terri provided him with meals, a place to sleep etc.
Yesterday, Byron and Vern ROBBED Chris and Terri. They took the Christmas present Chris and Terri were going to give Adam, as well as their TV, Terri's work computer, and their Wii game system.
What kind of person robs their own brother? Hell, what kind of person robs their own kid?!?!?! You can't make this crap up, I just can't believe it! Chris and Terri aren't that well off, so I know they saved up for Adam's Christmas gift for a long time. I'm so heartbroken over this!
The saddest part, is that there may not be anything they can do, as there are no signs of forced entry. Chris and Terri are placing a restraining order on both Byron and Vern, but chances are they won't get their things back, and Adam won't have a very good Christmas this year.
