NWR: Event planning – where to start and help with theme please!

    AllieBee12:  I would start with the venue as it will be your biggest expense.

    You already have a great start on themes- that would be next on  my list. Once you have your venue, one of your themes may just stand out as most suitable for the venue. Your theme will dictate the rest of your decision making.

    I love “The places you will go” or “the world is your oyster” .Both will be easy to do and fun. I would stay away from anything involving books – most people will have had enough of that for a while.

    Will there be a meal associated with the evening ? or catering of any sort?  That would be next on my list if not provided by the venue. Your venue and theme will provide direction for any catering choice.
