Weddingbee boards

So as you might know, it's Canadian Thanksgiving today. So happy thanksgiving to all you fellow Canuck bees!

I ended up skipping my step dads family thanksgiving this year because it fell on N's family thanksgiving, and man am I glad I did.

I just got home, to find my step dad completely stiched up and my brothers face swollen. Apparently my cousin broke a beer bottle over my brothers head, smashed his face up, attempted to slash my dads neck, and my aunts boyfriend who just buried his son two days ago after he died of cancer had to take the broken bottle away from him.

He wasn't drunk, high, or anything else. I have no idea where this came from, as growing up he was one of the only people in that family I actually liked. Needless to say, I blocked him on facebook, and he will not be coming to my wedding.

He's in jail right now, but goodness only knows for how long. If he is ever allowed in that family again (and they're so messed up they already flipped on my mom for sticking up for my dad), I will, and I'm sure my family will likely never see them again.

Needless to say, I'm so glad I missed thanksgiving.
