Which part in Chicago? We live in the northshore and we have lots of good doctors to recommend. -Ian
I live right around the Loyola Campus in Rogers Park/Edgewater. I would be willing to drive/take the train a moderate distance to the doctor, but obv don't want it to be a huge hassel everytime I need to go.
I had never used a male OB/GYN before, but I was referred to this doctor and loved him. He's by far the best I've seen. Good luck, and welcome to town!
Dr. Tim Garvey, Northwestern's Streeterville office. You can request an appointment by calling 312-926-8811.
EDIT: Seeing that you live near Loyola, I thought I'd let you know that he'd be a straight-shot on the 151 or the red line.
We are close. We are in Evanston and we always go to Evanston Hospital. They are one of the best! :-) My wife's OB/GYN is Dr. Charla Simon.. check her out. -Ian
Mine is Dr. Shayna Rubin, but she's located in the Loop. Not sure if that would be convenient for you...but she is awesome! The best doctor I've had...and I like you didn't know who to go to, so I looked on Yelp where she had rave reviews, and now I know why! :)
I see Dr. Irma Sodini. She's on the North Side near the Montrose brown line stop. She's awesome. She's super nice, concerned about your health and she's fast during the yearly pap/pelvic exam. Her office isn't super fancy, but I love her.
I go to North Shore Women's Health at Highland Park Hospital and I've been going to Dr. Kim for years. They are wonderful - a little far but worth the drive from the city for me.

Hello Chicago Ladies!
I moved here about 3 months ago, and I am looking for an OB/GYN in the Chicago area. I HATE looking for doctors, I was wondering if any of you had a really great one that I could check out! Let me know!
