It really sounds like you like the folded option the best. If you are worried about photo overkill you could always add in more holiday themed pictures (like a wreath, or candles, etc.) to balance the pictures of you. Good luck! Bet they'll turn out great :-)
I agree with @dansypants508: about the holiday pics on the inside - I did pic cards this year but just the one pic on the front since it's just DH and I (through Vistaprint - I am SO EXCITED about them). I hate flat cards because I can't stand them up to display them.

I need help figuring out what to send for Christmas.
Option 1: Flat 5 x 7 card - 1 photo. Front has picture, back has wording and space I can write a personal note
Option 2: Folded 5 x 7 card. Outside will have 1 photo, inside will have 3 small photos, back will have 1 photo. Lots of room for personal note inside the card.
With the flat card - it's a tiny bit cheaper. I don't really like the idea of only having the back to write on - and I typically don't like receiving flat cards because they are hard to display.
With the folded card - I like the idea of a folded card, although, with the 3 pictures on the inside, I'm wondering if it's picture overkill (since it's just me and DH). I guess picture overkill is really my main reason for shying away from this option. The 3 on the inside are on the flap - so they aren't very big (one is of us dipping/kissing, one is of us sitting, and the other is of us kind if dancing/kissing). -The one on the back will be of our shoes. All are pretty artsy (taken by a professional photographer friend).
The price for the flat is slightly less - not enough for price to be a consideration.
So - please, weight in! Should I do the flat and one picture? Or go for photo overkill???
