    Hi Bees,

For my birthday I wanted a hand-held vac/dust buster sort of thing, but can't seem to find any good ones. I bought this one from BBB made by Bissell and I don't like it so I have to take it back, which makes me not so happy since I had to pay shipping on it too because they didn't carry it in the store. Anyways. I am looking for something either with a decent cord length (for stairs) or a lithium-ion battery that keeps a good charge. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Bella

We bought the Kone cordless one from Target a while back. I mostly use it to pick up all the hair that I shed in the bathroom but it works great on the cat hair on the stairs and everything else. It's also a lot more attractive then most so you don't feel like you have to hide it!

My friend has the Dyson handheld and it's AMAZING. It's expensive, but it's really fantastic.

Dyson makes the best vacuum and dustbuster type goods. They are consistently top rated in Consumer Reports.

You can't get better than Dyson... but if you don't want to spend that much $$  - I have an Electrolux (red).  It's cordless and has a detachable 'dust buster' type attachment that works really well.  The other part used to work well, but even though I clean out the rollers, it doesn't seem to pick up like it used to.  You should be able to get if for about 80-100 from BBB.
