BUMP! Maybe all the hairdresser bees are working in the salon now.. *sigh* lol
I'm not a stylist myself, but my mom did hair forever and all of her friends still work in the industry. Her hair is long, like midback, and super wavy/curly, and she's been doing Brazilian gloss blowouts. They make her hair really easy to blow out straight, and then just more relaxed waves/curls when she doesn't want it to be straight. Not as loose as the pictures you posted because those are definitely curling iron waves, but it looks great.
I don't know right at the moment (I have hair that won't hold a curl if my life depended on it).. but my friend (who is a hairdresser) works in a salon where they specialize in curly hair and curly hair cuts... I'll be sure to get back to you about it soon. Just commenting to remind myself.
Hairdresser's response...
"If she washes it the night before and then sleeps in a braid then takes the braid out in the morning it will be wavy. The hair has to be wet when she braids it though."
Hope I helped a little!
@ellegee: I'm afraid of doing the Brazillian keratin treatment because I'm afraid my hair will be TOO relaxed and since I never straighten it (nor do I want it straight), I don't want to make it easier to straighten. My friend, who had similar curls to mine, did the treatment and hated it because she had to always wear her hair straight.
@Woodstock: Ah, so there's no magical treatment?? Thanks!
I'm not a hairdresser but have curly hair myself. The only way I can get that look is blowdrying my hair and then going over it with GHD to create the looser curls/waves. I don't mind doing it as I've gotten used to it over time but it is more work.
The braid thing sort of works but not as well. You'll never get exactly that look without styling.

So I have super duper curly hair. Probably about as curly as this, but much longer.
I'm wondering if there's anything that could make my hair wavy. I don't want to make it straight or easier to straighten, since I never straighten it, but I want waves, like this:
Or something similar.
Right now, my hair is super easy to fix in the morning - I wash it, add leave in conditioner and then it curls on its own and it's frizz-free. I don't want to add to my routine (ie: I don't want to permanently straighten it and then go over it with a curling iron to get my desired look).
I don't know why I picked all blonde pix, my hair is a very dark brown lol but I don't think that matters.
Is there anything I can do that would get me this look? Please give me the low down, thanks!!!
