I have a friend who just finished graduate school and is having a big graduation party next weekend. I need to get her a gift, but I can’t think of anything! She is 28, likes running, wine and coffee, and is a “foodie”. I could always do a gift card if I get desperate, but I love giving people nice personalized gifts. Any ideas??

Maybe pay for cooking classes? Or a personalized (make it yourself) recipe book? Or treat her to a nice dinner out at her favourite restaurant.

Oh I should add my budget is about $50. A cooking class could be cool, but I bet it would be expensive!

Ok maybe a nice recipe book by one of her favourite chefs then? Or you could make your own quite cheaply 🙂

Yiu could do a “dinner basket” for a relaxing night in now that she has the time. Fill it with pasta and a sauce, add a bottle of wine, and a bag of really good coffee beans. You should be abe to do that for $50, maybe even leaving a little room for chocolate or add a video.

you could get a nice wine decanter set or coffee accessories (special coffee mug, coffee scoop, gourmet coffee sampler).
Or make a basket of wine or coffee theme
Coffee: scoop, special filters, pretty mugs, or travel cups, flavored syrup (if they like that), gourmet coffee, pretty spoon to stir the coffee, pastry to go with it or a 15 dollar giftcard to a bakery
Wine: pretty glases, ice bucket, wine bottle coaster, wine stopper/cork, electric wine bottle opener/or pretty opener,a nice bar of chocolate that goes with wine, nice bottle of wine
Running stuff- a watch that measures blood pressure, if they run marathon/have a lot of medals- you could get some sort of organizer to show them off (like a decorative hook)
