Hi there!
I'm actually getting married in Flagstaff, AZ (2 hours east of the Grand Canyon), and one of the reasons was to encourage people to drive to the Grand Canyon (and Sedona, which is gorgeous) for a day trip. I've stayed in the following hotels and they are all great:
1) Little America Flagstaff (a hotel/lodge, beautiful rooms)
2) Starligth Inn Bed & Breakfast, Flagstaff. It's a historic home in the city, and the owners are amazing, they prepare a YUMMY gourmet breakfast for you.
3) Abineau Lodge B&B--located on the southside of Flagstaff, probably farther from the Grand Canyon entrance. It's beautiful, cozy and they have a bunch of huskies in front of the property that are really fun to watch.
Last time I was in the Grand Canyon I stayed in the Bright Angel Lodge, and it was nice. But because it's the summer, it might be pretty booked! I'd say Flagstaff is the way to go, it's so nice in there, and easy to navigate :)

Taking a road trip to the Grand Canyon next month (might to both south and north rim) and would LOVE any recs for places to stay!
Thanks in advance!
