Holidays like Easter and Christmas. Mainly I go for my mother. I am still searching for a place of worship/meditation I feel truly on board with.
I go weekly, though I a few times a year I'll miss.
If I don't go for a few weeks I realize I start to feel restless. It's very centering for me and a really important part of my week. It keeps me going.
I put weekly, because that is how often my husband and I go together. But I love going to daily mass, and try to go during my lunch 1-2 days a week. During Lent I usually do daily mass as well.
However, growing up my family was more a holiday/occasional Sunday thing. It wasn't until college that I started going regularly (a lot of that had to do with meeting my husband!). And then it wasn't until graduate school, when there was a beautiful chapel that I passed on my way to school every day that had 8am mass, that I started doing daily mass. For me, it's just a great way to start my day.
every Sunday, but I try to go to daily Mass a couple times a week. (I figure, hey if I have all this time to go on weddingbee, then shouldn't I be able to give God at least a little bit of time?)
To be honest, I've been sucking at attending Mass weekly. I got in the habit of not going due to illness/transportation issues and then I go and of course I can't receive, so then I need to go to confession and I feel terrible confessing the same sin over and over again. Yeah, I suck.
@beekiss:don't be disheartened! that's one of the reasons why we have such a beautiful sacrament of confession--God has so much grace to give us!
Also related to that, if you aren't able to go to Mass because you really and truly are not physically able to, either if you can't get there, or are truly sick, then God does not ask the impossible of you. It's not a mortal sin to miss it in those cases. It's only a mortal sin when we willingly/deliberately miss it (eg, "I'm too tired/busy...")
I like to go every week. FI and I go together a few times a month ever since we decided to get married in his family's church. And it's nice because we spend QT with FMIL, too :)
I put "every week" ....I've been going since I was in my Momma's womb! Hahaha. I love that my Husband is on the same ball, it makes it that much more awesome.
We'll do feast days and such for sure during the week, but sometimes when either of us can make it we'll go to a daily mass and/or Adoration. Keeps the Soul young
It used to be never. Now that I am with FI, I go for special occasions.
I put a couple times a month... we have just started trying to be better about attending church since our engagement. I hope to get up to "nearly every week." It's really important to us to have a spiritual foundation for our marriage and our family.

To the catholic bees, how often do you go to church?
I used to hate going to church because my mom always made me go. When I was old enough to go on my own, I would go when I could but not regularly. Now I see myself trying to go every week. I'm curious when everyone else goes.
