I am pretty young, 19, but I look way younger! I’m sure I’ll appreciate that when I’m older, but for now its a little frustrating to try to apply for a job and know that the people I’m talking to think I’m 15.
So, does anyone have any tips on easy ways to make me look older? Even when I dress well I still look strangely young 🙁

Are you wearing makeup when you go to interviews? I look wayyyy younger with no makeup on . I also look younger with my hair down

@Tigerlilybride: I don’t know how to help you on your physical appearance, but my advice is to not giggle too much (I am really bad about this)…although giggling makes you look friendly and bubbly, giggling also makes you seem unprofessional or inexperienced.

@Camgurl16: I am wearing makeup, and I have my hair up. I really don’t understand it. When I was younger I always looked older than I was! I think I aged to 15 really fast and never got past that haha!

@Tigerlilybride: What kind of job are you applying for? No matter what you appear to look like, your experience and qualifications are all that matters. Ask yourself how you’re ranking in those departments.

What are you wearing when you go? Dress slightly older than you are. This is my typical interview dress, it goes a little bit past my knees and I have it pinned so less cleavage is showing. Forgive the setting, I also wore it for a show I was in.
I only wear it when I want to look older/more mature. Stay modest, stay conservative.
