I have one like this.  It’s stretchy in the back so it fits better around my waist.

I get most of my belts here as well! Most of the wider ones are made to go around your waist. I also get the skinnier ones, which are sometimes geared for a natural waist and sometimes for your hips. I usually just put it in the last hole and then tuck the end into the belt so it doesn’t flap around. It’s what I’m doing today!

H&M has some nice belts too, but I got my normal belt there, not a natural waist one.

@esqbee: sounds like me!  I got a useable black belt from wal-mart that had NO holes, you just hooked the prong into the weaving.  I’ve also got a nice chain black/silver belt that you just hook it in the spot you want and voila, belt!  you just either let the extra chain drape down or hook it multiple times to shorten it.

I just rarely ever wear a belt.  They usually mean I’ll have a sore place on my waist from them and the clothing (unless it’s my decorative chain belt…that one I loooove!)

haha! Well, my friends would say I’m the original belt person, so hopefully I can help! It sounds like you have a SUPER tiny waist, so here’s a few things you can try:

a) if you’re wearing a skinny belt (like 1/4″ wide or so), you can just pull the loose end through until it’s the right size and pop the “tongue” (the skinny metal prong that usually goes through a hole) along the side of the leather and then weave the excess once back underneath the belt along the side of your waist – my favorites are by J Crew, they have tons of colors/styles, and this is how they show a lot of the models wearing them, since I’m having a hard time describing this: http://www.jcrew.com/womens_feature/NewArrivals/dresses/PRDOVR~42786/42786.jsp’ defer=’defer kind of shows it

b) if you want a wider belt, try an elastic one with a leather/magetic clasp – try macy’s, even the junior’s department if you’re really having trouble getting the right size – but the elastic starts off pretty small even in the adult sizes so you should be able to find something!

Not sure what price range you’re looking for, but I usually find my (vast collection of!) belts at banara republic and J Crew, and nordstroms/bloomingdales. Good luck!
