NWR: Is this a Satire or a bigot's point of view on Interracial Relationships?

Eh, it’s the internet, so it’s definitely not the most offensive or racist thing I’ve read. Honestly, the article seems to slam asian women, white women and white men all at the same time. After reading the follow-up article, it seems that the author is really most angry with white men, hiding behind the guise of feminism (although not sure how she justifies demeaning other womens’ choices). In the end, I feel that most of these types of articles which judge other peoples’ relationships are always pointless, so I don’t pay much attention to them.

Whatever it is, it’s stupidity.

Cynderbug: Hmm. I HOPE it’s satire. Reading it, it’s hard to take it seriously. I think whoever wrote it can’t possibly be serious. If someone spoke like this where I live, they’d get laughed or shamed out of the building. But that could be just me projecting my own opinions on it.

Verdict: Satire.

The dude is a guy who frequents bodybuilding.com and wrote it as a parody of modern feminism, to show how ridiculous it was (in his opinion) http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/thought-catalog-mistakenly-publishes-feminist-essay-article-1.1725651
Bodybuilding.com is a place with a lot of trolls. Even I was slightly puzzled at how OTT the article was and annoyed as well (considering I am Asian, Indian specifically, and my FI is English/white).
Edit: interesting, the interview seems to have disappeared. Wonder why that is. But that was pretty much what the original NYDT article said.

It’s satire, but not particularly well-done or necessary. Read her update, it’s pretty explicit there.

What a prick. She doesn’t even say anything particularly new.
