So I gave my kitten (I still call him kitten, even if he is 10 months old now) his flea meds today on the back of his neck and he got crabby like he does and ran out to the backyard to pout. This is normal and not a big deal. An hour later he comes back inside and jumps up to lounge on the back of the couch like nothing happened. I look over and I see THIS:
For the record, my cat is SOLID WHITE. He was brown enough at this point to match the couch. I still cannot stop laughing.
I just cannot get over how much dirt he must have rolled in before coming back inside. About 30 seconds after this picture, I locked the dog door, then picked hum up and tossed him in the tub. Poor furbaby did not have a good day today.

Awww… so cute! I didn’t even think he was a white cat at first… haha! Also, I know lots of that flea stuff comes off if the cat is given a bath within 24 hrs or so. I wouldn’t give any more though without talking to the vet… just FYI so you can just keep an eye on him for fleas!

I have an 8 month old and I still cat him a kitten~^^ I freaking love cats and all the silly things they do. Sorry that you had to give him a bath though!!!! Once my cat knocked a full can of beer over all over her back with her tail. I tried to bathe her by myself, and it took my arms a while to recover from all the scratch marks!!!

awwwww poor furbaby, lol. I can’t believe he’s so dirty, that’s too funny! My cats don’t like baths either, but it comes with the territory every 3 months, even tho they’re inside only. They get stinky after awhile!

Lol, yuck… but too cute! That’s something my cat would do, he’s insane. We live on the 4th floor of a NYC apartment building and my FI had opened a window, which had no screen… 5 minutes later, my cat was on the ledge. The ledge can barely be called a ledge because its no more than 2-3 inches. So he’d much rather get some fresh air and get dirty on the ground like your kitty, he just can’t get there!

Oh my gosh, I thought he got the flea treatment on the couch and the cough fabric color transferred to him.

LOL! No, he is fine. Nothing from the couch rubbed off on him he was just so dirty that he blended in. That is true about recommending no bath within 24 hours after the flea meds, but I am not too worried about it. Most of it has been absorbed already anyway and we have never had fleas in this house to begin with.
And yep, he was not happy about the bath but I have had him since he was six days old and bathed him a LOT (especially when I was weaning him. He thought he was supposed to eat the food by dipping his entire head in)!
He is clean and white again now but man, I was laughing SO hard. They do such silly things. His current obsession is to stare through the fence at the neighbors’ chickens. He thinks this is fascinating.

Cats are so weird. Our male cat is the weirdest.
He washes his paws in his water bowl, licks them, and then goes over to my windows/sliding doors and rubs his dirty cat paws on the glass. You have no idea how long it took me to figure out how these filthy streaks were getting on the window. I was blaming Mr. ACS.
Male kitty also has a skewed idea of how the outside world works. Like if he sees another cat through the window and that cat runs out of view, our cat runs downstairs, like “THE OTHER CAT! I CAN’T SEES HIM! HE MUST HAVE WENT TO OUR BASEMENT! I GO THERE FAST!” and off he goes, his tail freaking out with his tail all poofed.
He also eats cardboard boxes. Bites pieces off and leaves little cardboard shreds everywhere. I didn’t blame Mr. ACS for that.

Our cat loves rolling in the dirt! She hasn’t done it since we moved to our new place and she is afriad of the back yard. She is a mostly black cat and she gets so dirty that she looks light brown!

hahahah!! Too cute.
Yeah, my cats HATE the flea drops. They freak out when they see them. It’s weird… makes me wonder if it hurts them or something..?

my whitish cat gets into trouble a lot too.. he has had a little smhmutz on him lately, but i don’t know what he’s getting into.
His quirk is that he drops his toys off for a bath in his water bowl, then drags them around.. the floor always has gross mouse streaks on it, thanks cat.
