I think most of you know I love to cook and bake. One thing I have always wanted to try my hand at is French Macaroons, but I’ve been kind of intimidated up til now!
I’m fairly certain Mastering the Art of French Cooking has a recipe, so I’ll probably try that one, but has anyone had any luck with making them well? It’s kind of intimidating for some reason!

Thanks! I will definitely check those out. I’m not so much worried about the taste, but more the presentation. It usually takes me a few times to get presentation perfect, but it’d be nice to know the pitfalls ahead of time!

I love to cook and bake as well! I can’t say that I’ve ever tried macaroons though, you’re brave. I’m pretty sure that David Leibowitz has covered them on his blog and he’s usually very helpful. Try here: http://www.davidlebovitz.com/archives/2005/10/french_chocolat.html
