I immediately thought an inflamed appendix when reading your post. The pain won’t always be extremely severe. If it lasts more than a few hours I would go get it checked out, because once an appendix ruptures it can get pretty nasty

When I went in with those kind of pains they told me it absolutely wasn’t my appendix because I wasn’t in enough pain. They kept me waiting in the ER for over 10 hours and eventually put me in a room overnight with plans of more tests in the morning. Guess whose appendix ruptured over night because they didn’t get it out early enough…

I ended up being in the hospital on and off for over a month because if they don’t get it checked out before it ruptures it causes a ton of problems!

I was vomiting when I had appendicitis as well as the pains and diahrrea. Even though you aren’t vomiting the pain on your right side is concerning. Seriously better safe than sorry because if they remove it in time it’s only a couple days stay in the hospital as opposed to the long drawn stays and complications of a ruptured appendix.

@MrsSheldonCooper:  Fever? Not a good idea to ignore appendicitis because treatment only gets worse and more expensive not to mention you risk developing a severe internal infection called peritonitis that is difficult to treat.

Gallbladder issues?  Try googling their symptoms.  My FI had some issues with his a couple years ago and it included diarrehea (not even going to try to spell that correctly), naseau, pain in his abdomen, etc, especially after eating.

Sounds like appendix issues to me, an you can’t mess around with that. I have a friend who almost died from appendicitis. Please go to the doctor ASAP.

@MrsSheldonCooper:  I use Dr. Google to determine when I should visit the doctor as well 🙂 Good idea at least seeing your primary doctor. I only had a very low fever and I was very very tired. Hopefully it’s not appendicitis and just some kind of bug or weird pain that the doctor says isn’t an issue!

sounds like appendix to me…but i’m no doc. I had mine removed and went through several of your symptoms.

i was in the developing world when mine decided it no longer wanted to be friends. the first doc i saw said “you would be screaming in pain if it were your appendix” less than 24 hours later i was in a bigger city with better doctors and they said, yup you have appendicitis and wheeled me into an OR. wasn’t too terrible of an experience.

i think you should get it checked out, if it is your appendix and it ruptures….not fun but if it’s nothing then you get to pay a copay and people watch at the ER or Urgent Care. 🙂

@MrsSheldonCooper:  Get it checked out! I had a similar belly pain a few years ago. I wanted to shrug it off but my mom insisted I go to the ER. Ultrasound showed that my gallbladder was basically about to explode. They had to rush me into emergency surgery. I’m not trying to spook you but belly pain can be caused by a multitude of things. Get it checked out ASAP and don’t wait for the pain to get worse.

This could be any number of things depending on your age and medical history: appendix, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, honestly….the list goes on and on….. You might even have a  bowel obstruction. Alot of times watery diarrhea happens with a BO, its the body’s way of “working around it”.  Definitely go get it checked out…..oh and this might sound gross, but if you have any disposable tupper ware, take a stool samp[le with you if you can…….they’ll want to test it….good luck and I hope you are all better soon!
