@lampshade:  have your asked your hair stylist what the best style is for your hair?  perhaps they can also suggest the best product that you can use to control it.

Your hairs sounds pretty similar to mine. No matter what shampoos, products or different techniques I have tried, nothing seems to work. The only thing that has worked for me is applying heat. My hair looks awesome if I use a curling iron or a hair straightener. I just hate how damaged my hair gets after doing frequently. 

Also I just remebered. I haven’t done this since highschool so not sure if it is still true for me, but if I applied a ton of gel and scrunched it and bunched it up into clips as it dried, it was still a little frizzy on top, but the crazy waves were more tamed and natural looking…

@lampshade:  sounds like my hair.  I am going to cut it shoulder length after the wedding.  I love bed head party/frizz something. I cant remember the name of it.  Its a hot pink bottle.
