Weddingbee boards

So, I have been seriously slacking in making my bedroom feel cozy.  Right now, it's basically a room with a bed and bookshelves.  Not warm or inviting at all.  Well, two weeks from today, the hubs will FINALLY be moving home, and I would like our bedroom to look put together.  Basically, the only real problem I'm running into is the wall our bed is pushed up against.  We have a cal king bed, but do not have a headboard.  I can't afford to buy one right now, so I need to find another alternative to fill up that huge white space.  We live in an apartment, so I can't do anything too permanent (no painting, huge holes in the wall, etc).  I have attached the picture of the bedspread we have to give you gals an idea of the color scheme we have.  I like the idea of keeping the room black & white w/ the hints of green from the bedspread.  Our curtains are a damask print.  So....I've attached some of the ideas I've come up with.  If I were to put a piece of artwork up, I was thinking of centering it over the bed and then adding small sconces to either side so I could have candles (flameless) on the wall...But...I'm also a decorating dummy, so I'm opening to any suggestions...well, inexpensive suggestions. lol  I found some other pictures of landscapes from target that I liked.  They were a set of 3 horizontal pictures of trees in a foggy setting...but I can't get those to show up here :( 

On a side note, I'm pretty crafty, so if you have any DIY projects, I'll take those too!!!  Thanks so much :)

I'm bumping this thread b/c I am in some serious need of some decorating help too in our bedroom. But I love B&W and anything wrought iron. I know you said you bought some photos from Target already, but are you good with a camera? How about taking some pictures of things you enjoy, like nature, pets,  or have someone take some B&W photos of you and the hubbs and get nice frames for them. That would make your space feel a little more intimate and cozy. I love sconces and flameless candles and think that is a very nice idea. Any kind of ambient lighting will add to the room. We found wrought-iron candle stands in my mom's attic. Something like that may look nice in a bare corner of your room and you can always find green candles to set in them at any store with a home decor dept. (like Target or Wal*Mart). Watch HGTV! They have inspired us with home decor ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. I hope some of this helps.
