Maybe a nice little bouquet of flowers, or something like Bath and Body or cookies!! That is very sweet of you to think of them and want to do something for them. I think they would appreciate anything:)
What about a sweet little bouquet in a vase left on their desk to surprise them? Pretty flowers always make me smile!
Maybe a small gift card for something fun - towards a spa or a healthy treat like a fruit tray? ( I love fruit so I know that would make my day!)
i love getting things like hot chocolate mix, flavored coffees, or chocolate! Even someone who is a healthy eater can appreciate good chocolate! :)
I always think the best most thoughtful gift is something homemade. If you are good at baking it might be a nice treat for them to have a little basket each to munch on while working through their piles of papers.
Either that or I would go grab some cheap odds and ends and make a little "de-stress" gift bag. I do this often and usaually buy a couple of things with some smaller cheaper fillers like candy and dollar store items. You could add chocolate, a bath bomb, some relaxation auroma therapy, foot cream, etc. Include in your note something like, "Here's a little 'de-stress' kit for when you need it most. You can even add a travel sized advil or some tissues if you want to be cheeky or give it to them in a little first aid box :)
Great ideas! Thank you!
Flowers are a great idea, I think. I'm swamped this weekend, haha, and flowers are quick and easy!
Awe you are too sweet, I like the idea of doing flowers but how bout you stop by during the day with some nice coffee and snacks to keep them going :)
That's a really sweet idea!! Flowers and a card will go a long way to brightening their day... that sucks for them.
You are super sweet and thoughtful to do something nice for them :)

Beekeeper
I recently started a new job (about 2 months ago), and in my 7 person department, there are 5 lawyers. 3 are out right now, for the whole month of May (maternity, jury duty and a very ill timed international vacation that couldn't be rearranged when it was realized) - so 2 are doing the work of 5 for the month.
Needless to say, they're both really stressed. I've been doing what I can to help them with the workload, but most of it is stuff they just have to do themselves, since it's legal stuff.
But I'd like to leave them some sort of encouraging little present or something Monday morning, since I know they're both feeling really overwhelmed and underappreciated.
Problem is, I don't know what to do, since I don't know them super well yet. I know one turns to junk food when she's stressed (her lunch today was a bag of supermarket donuts and 2 bottles of iced tea), but the other not so much. Both are moms of young kids.
Any ideas?
ETA: I plan to do a sweet, handwritten card for each, but want something tangible too.
