When I think of new years I think of silver or gold. You could use leftover ball ornaments and put them in a pedestal bowl and place on the table. To add even more bling, you could take the regular shiny ornaments and cover in glue and sprinkle gold or silver glitter on the balls to have a mix of shiny & glitzy :)
Or, I found this picture that is just adorable! I love the clocks!
In Rachel Ray's magazine there is a New Year's Eve centerpiece created with gold and silver beads poured into long-stemmed glasses. It would be really simple to do and it was pretty!
@ AnnieAAA: I Love the centerpiece idea! The clocks are cool but I especially love how the noise-makers are arranged like a bouquet !
